Euro-Toques Young Chef of the Year

Key Dates

  • The Young Chef of the Year Competition opens for entries on Tuesday, 19th March, 2024.
  • The deadline for applications is Friday, 5th April 2024 at 12 noon. 
  • Successful candidates will be notified as to whether they have made it through to the next stage of the competition after Friday, 5th April 2024
  • The written stage of the competition will open on Monday 8th April 2024
  • Candidates will have to submit their written entries in the form of a recipe by Thursday 25th April 2024. 
  • Results of the written stage will be announced on Friday 3rd May 2024 with a list of candidates who are going through to the interviews. 
  • Interviews will be held on Monday 13th May 2024 on zoom 
  • The Semi-finals are scheduled for Sunday 23rd June 2024
  • Finals scheduled for Sunday 6th October 2024

  • Fill in the online entry form below. Make sure you fill all required fields.
  • You will receive an e-mail confirming your submission. If you do not receive a confirmation please contact us at office@euro-toques.ie

Enter the Euro-Toques Young Chef of the Year 2024 competition by answering the following question:

Overarching theme: INSPIRING REGENERATION

Food waste, food awareness, regenerative farming, and food miles are current themes we hear about every day.

“We can all make a difference with small daily actions. We would like you to give an example of a small action you have implemented in your kitchen, whether in your choice of produce (local v imported), in your working process (composting, plastic etc) or in your knowledge about farming, fishing, preservation practices. ”

All content must be your own original work. If you use video/image belonging to a third party, your entry must clearly show why it fits within the context of your own original idea.

    In order to enter the competition you must be born after 01-01-1996. you must be aged 18-28 from the time you enter the competition to the end of the same year (must be 28 or under on 31 Dec 2024)
