How to join
Euro-Toques is open to any chef or cook who takes an interest in and actively promotes the values of the organisation. Members do not have to be formally trained chefs but must work actively in the sector, either in a kitchen or teaching environment, with proven experience. Each potential member must submit a CV, current menu and a list of food suppliers. This is to demonstrate that, where possible, the principles of seasonality and local-sourcing are followed, there is a respect for culinary traditions and ingredients are of high quality.
Chefs and cooks wishing to join Euro-Toques Ireland must:
• Submit a CV, sample menus and a list of food suppliers they use
• Acknowledge food suppliers and producers on their menu
• Follow the Euro-Toques principles of food sourcing
• Abide by the Euro-Toques Code of Honour.
