Kitchen Cabinet

Kitchen Cabinet is a collaboration between the Irish Times and Euro-Toques Ireland. The coronavirus outbreak resulted in a difficult period for the sector. Euro-Toques wanted to focus on maintaining a positive attitude towards all things food. Euro-Toques chefs and friends have come together to share some of the easy, tasty dishes that they like to cook and eat at home. Under the hashtag #ChefsAtHome the community publishes a recipe a day. The project, has been very positively received by the wider audience, and includes 100 recipes from Euro-Toques chefs, cooks and friends.

Chefs at home privilege local produce, simple food and rustic flavours. Kitchen Cabinet aims at rekindling the joy of cooking and baking at home with what’s available in your cabinet or on your doorstep. Most of the ingredients in the recipes can be substituted with something similar, the recipes being a guideline more than strict instructions. We wanted people to have fun, experiment and support local as much as possible.
